Pillar 1. Understand all of the concepts of the eight domains of knowledge covered by the EPPP. This is best accomplished through the use of commercial test preparation programs such as The Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences (AATBS), Academic Review (AR), Taylor Method, and PsychPrep. Pillar 2. Memorize the theories, concepts, theorists, formulas, and key terms that are on the EPPP. This is best done using flashcard software. Be sure to use a flashcard program that is driven by an advanced learning algorithm.
Pillar 3. Learn test taking strategies specifically targeted towards the EPPP. Test taking strategies should include techniques targeted to multiple choice exams such as: ruling out wrong answers, narrowing down choices, being aware of exception questions, exam pacing, and strategies for lengthy exams with complex questions.
